Today, I had a scarvenger hunt in Oxford, not very fun tho... And for the rest of the day, I've been in my room tidying things up and ironing clothes. My friend and I are plannin to go out later and look around Oxford and maybe have dessert at a restaurant or something. Oh! Btw, I am planning to get a temporary tattoo on my lower back and ankle. Hehee...
Anyway, I went to Bath yesterday (thursday) --- a very beautiful city. I saw these baths that the Roman built in the first century and this temple thing used for worshipping n' stuff. And I went to Lacock Abbey afterwards where some scenes from Harry Potter was filmed! A pretty nice place. And I bought a deck of cards with pictures of Abbeys and Priories. =)
Oh! I went to see A Midsummer Night's Dream on Wednesday! It was sooo good! Altho the beginning was a little slow, but I love the plot! And it was quite funny for the second half. Hehee...
Angela --- Hehe....I got ur souvenir yesterday! It's sitting on my desk in my room rite now. Lolss....it's sooo cute ~
Donna --- Y' know, every time I have beans on my plate, I thought of you. (remember, the day we were to Market Village and get Iola's present?)
Cherrio~
Hey to whoever's reading this!
I got a new blog cuz my old one just refuses to publish my entries... But that's ok, I will just make another one. The last two entries that didn't get published are published here.
Life here in Oxford is much slower than London (in terms of speed of life). I haven't explored the city and went siteseeing as much as I did in London. But I did go to Avebury, Stratford-upon-Avon (where Shakespeare was born and buried), Stonehenge and Salisbury yesterday. Avebury is just a bunch of rocks...whatevery about the history behind them. Stonehenge is a prehistorical temple, quite interesting once you learned about its history. If not, it is just another bunch of rocks again. We arrived Salisbury quite late around seven so most stores were closed already. Therefore, we only visited the Chapter House/ Salisbury Cathedral where one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta is stored. And here is just something that I overheard one of my classmate saying in monotone, which I find quite funny:
"The London Eye is just a ferris wheel.
Westminister Abbey is just a church.
Big Ben is just a clock.
Avebury is just some rocks."
Hehe... I am in a very good mood rite now cuz I don't really have any hw to do tonite. I am going to Bath tomorrow for the whole day so no class!!! Yes!! And we are planning to go see A Midsummer's Night Dream tonight. Hope it's good stuff.
I can't wait to go back to Toronto and see all of you!! I have so much to say and want to do with you ppl.!! Aaawwweeeee......I wish you gurls were here too!! Btw, P., you can purchase alcohol once u are 16. But in order to go into a pub, u have to be 18. My teacher is taking the whole class to one on Satureday tho. = )
OMG! I've been such a chocolate addict for the past few days! There have such variety here and I simply can not ressist the spell they have casted on me!!! I have consumed like 2-3 boxes of chocolate within a week's time! I think I am gonna regret this.
*note* for those of you who wanna see some pictures, you can go to http://www.experienceengland.com/02dickenswalk.htm. I am in a few of those pictures. Have fun finding me tho ( I was in 4 of those pictures).

~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~
I have arrived in Oxford today, staying in St. Edward School's campus rite now. And yes! I don't have to pay the net cafe to use the computers nemore! We have access to the computers in our own buildings. *smiles* And they have a gym facilities here meaning I can go swimming n' stuff ~
I am sooo happy rite now (but still quite worn out)! I've been having troubles with getting money from the bank machines and I am like so short of cash for the past few days! But so glad that the problem is solved; I can finally take money out now!
Just briefly going over the things I did for the past few days. On Tuesday, I went to the Cabinet War Rooms then Westminister Abbey. On Wednesday, I went to Hyde Park and see the Changing of the Guards (quite boring so we left after a few minutes). THen at nite, we went to see the play Blood Brothers which was soooooooooo fantastic! I couldn't stop crying at the end of the play. Lols... And on Thursday, we went to see Twelfth Nights, I was so tired and the play wasn't really exciting, so I fell asleep on it for the first half. But overall, it's quite entertaining but not my type of entertainments. Some ppl even left after the first half of the play. Lols...we went shopping after the play on Oxford Street!!! I am soooooo HAPPY!! I got this really nice skirt, aaawwwweeeee...... But I am very mad at the same time! Cuz the person forgot to take of the security tag and u know how inside it, there are some permanent dye inside. So, I was trying to take the thing off the skirt cuz there was no way that I was to bus back and asked the lady to take it off. I did manage to take it off after a while of pullin and yanking...but the thing was that the glass that contained the dye broke and it got onto my skirt (and fingers)!!! *sob, sob* I really liked the skirt! But I am gonna go back to the store and see what they will do about it on the 27th. Cuz it's their fault that they didn't take the security tag off when they were supposed to! Arg!
But then I also got this white dress and this short skirt. hehee... I think I am gonna go wild when I go back to shop in London on the 27th. Lolss...
Anne! I think u are gonna love the fashion magazines here in England!! They have so much stuffs that come along with the magazines!! I got these flip flops from buying the Elle magazine; 2 bags from InStyle; and I wanted to get this sarong with the Glamour magazine! =>
Donna - I had mashed potatoes for lunch today! hehee... But they don't have gravy!
PS - I am so worried that my photos won't turn out properly after the 5th roll. Cuz one night I accidently fell asleep with my camera on my bed. And I kinda kicked it off my bed while I was rolling around in my sleep...I hope nothing's broken altho it keeps making some funny sounds whenever I shake it.
Cheerio ~
